Takashima Records is a cocktail and record lounge where visitors are invited to experience a sensory exchange of Japanese and American inspired arts.The izakaya-style cocktail and record lounge offers authentic music discovery, new-generation Japanese cuisine and a diverse drink menu to be savored.It is a cross-cultural sanctuary born from local music, inspired by travel abroad and reinforced with family heritage.The Takashima Records experience is inspired by the jazz kissa culture, western-influenced getaways hidden within the bustling city of Tokyo allowing visitors to step out of the chaos for a moment to feed the senses and connect with friends.

At Takashima Records, our number-one goal in reopening is first and foremost the safety of you—our valued guests—and our dedicated staff.
With that in mind, coupled with the inspiration of the tiny bars in Golden Gai, Tokyo, we are recreating the Takashima Records experience with a micro approach. We can still bring the best sounds and flavors, designed around intimacy, comfort, and most importantly a clean environment.
Naturally lends itself to a responsible, semi-private experience

Features booths built from repurposed shipping containers
Our new ticketed experience introduces multi-course dining and drinking, with three services nightly Thursday-Saturday, each 2 hours long. We allow for only a 20-person capacity per seating to ensure proper distancing and safety.
The Takashima Records experience:
Features a vinyl DJ (of course!) bringing the vibes every evening, along with a special set menu to satisfy and gratify
Serves up sashimi plates and other surprise delicacies in multiple courses by Chef Chris Krzysik
Stirs up five signature cocktails by Bar Manager Tai Nalewajkó, who has also procured the best sake, wine, and beer selections to take the food and the sounds to the next level

While you’re here, we’ll be:
Thoroughly cleaning all high touch surfaces every 30 minutes with EPA approved disinfectant
requiring all staff to wear PPE and taking temperatures daily upon arrival
minimizing face to face contact
restricting the n umber of employees and guests in our space
providing hand sanitizer for all tables and hand sanitizing stations throughout the space
cleaning the entirety of the space between seatings
